Default Anyone attending the Annie Awards?

Just checking if anyone is going? I just got my tickets.

My wife and I just doing the 25 dollar tickets. Did it last year and had a blast.

Just heard William Shatner will host. Should be fun.

Afraid to say but I won't be able to make it this year. I support the annies and it's great to see talent receive some recognition!

Sorry to see you wont be there!

I was over at the AM boards and started up a thread from last year. I saw I had chatted with you about it and how you were helping out with the media. I believe you said you did the dinner party tickets? I was thinking about doing that this year but opted for the 25. Did you think it was worth it?

Yeah for me, at the time, it was worth it. I hadn't met anyone besides some of the AM crew in the LA industry at the time. The ladies I was with were there to cover the event so I thought it was best to experience everything. The end result was a nice interview that Yumi wrote about the annies and about John's achievements for cinema today: http://www.cinematoday.jp/page/N0016841

The Annie's are an award show sponsored by ASIFA-Hollywood (The International Animated Film Society). It's strictly for Animated features, shorts and the like. Williams Shatner hosted this year's awards ceremony that was held yesterday at UCLA's Royce Hall in Los Angeles, CA.

It was a blast. William did a great job of hosting. Lots of laughs, a few tears, and a ton of fun.

Sounded fun. Would of liked to gone but I live over 2000 miles away and found out last minute. I noticed the link posted by Joe after I found this link so I will post it anyway just in case someone wants to take a look at it. Plus it got some information on the ward cemony itself. http://www.annieawards.org/consideration.html#1

They did mention at some point they will stream the show online. They streamed it in parts last year if I recall correctly.
