Don should release a new book, but...

This time, let it be about character DRAWING, not animation. A whole book dedicated how to draw characters with life (what Don did his whole life). I want such a book to be published because I myself can't animate (or even want to right now). But I would like to perfect my drawing skills.

    Agreed..............

Though, they will release more Dvd tutorials about Drawing....they are some dvds available now...i can tell you that they have been so helpful for me.....

    1.Draw as you please..
    2.Getting the feeling
    3.Monkey see Monkey do.....

i am also looking for the first Dvd which yet to be released about this issue. That is..Nuts and bolts...where , i think, he discussed about the basic form and line.....which i badly needed to understand the foundation of basic drawings...

    Regards,
    Arif

I'd likely buy a book on Don Bluth drawing techniques but I've gotta tell ya...

that would be missing the real opportunity. Seeing Don animating is where we want to be. (and doncha know on each and every frame of an animation is a drawing!)

If you want to learn how to draw like Don study the same influences as his.
And of course watch his drawing videos!

There are literally thousands of books on drawing available. Relatively few on animating.

So, with utmost respect for your request, I respectly disagree.

I too would by a book on drawing by Don Bluth. It took me a while to find his other two books that are out of print right now. The Art of Animation Drawing and The Art of Storyboarding. I finally found some success from some comic book shops. As far as the DVD I have all of them that are out and I have found them very helpful.
