    Don's Early Work

I know I said I'd upload some of Don's early work to the gallery. Here's some really old stuff I found in a folder. The dates on these drawings go back to 1951 & 1952; that makes Don between 13 and 14 years old. The color of the paper is not far off from what you see in the images; it's faded yellow and very brittle.
If I still have a job after showing Don's early work in the forum, I'll keep uploading more and more.

    Here Goes....

I have to say the first picture seems the best to me, some of the pictures with the basic shapes make the characters seem less character-esque. I have to say though if he was 12-14 he could draw better than me when I was that age.

Love these pictures, though the first one still seems the best even in this line up. the last one is also good but the camel seems a little strange to me.

Dude, what are you smoking? It's not a competition. He's better than me at 12-14 than I am now. Just enjoy the art. Everyone's a critic!
