It seems that in North America there is currently nothing happening with feature-length hand-drawn animation at the big mainstream "Hollywood" studios (Disney , etc.) . There is still a perception on the part of some that "as Disney goes, so goes the world" and that we must wait for Disney to "save hand-drawn animation" , but it is clear to me that is not necessarily going to happen .
There is hand-drawn production that takes place in the rest of the world, as well as television series work in North America (and by "hand-drawn" I'm broadly including shows that may have the final art made in applications like Flash or ToonBoom, but are drawing-based production, as opposed to "3D" animation in Maya . Whether it's drawn on a Cintiq or on paper is not the issue to me . ) There are also studios that still do drawn commercials for advertising. So I'm not just talking about feature film production in mainstream Hollywood movie studios.
I'm trying to compile a list of studios around the world who are still actively engaged in making drawn animation. If anyone wants to contribute to the list I'd appreciate any additions.
Here's my partial list so far :
● Duncan Studio
● Walking the Dog
● Headless Productions
● Cartoon Saloon
● Michael Sporn Animation
● Buzzco Associates
● Jib Jab
● Laika (primarily stop-motion, but some hand-drawn for commercials)

● Titmouse Studios
● Ghostbot
● Mercury Film Works
● WildBrain
● SPA Studios

Please feel free to add to the list .
