So sadly, i have been sick on and off for a little over two weeks. I missed CTN, today i missed the seminar. It is really getting sickening. Its not fun being down with the sickness. Right after I was getting better, my gf gets sick and gives it right back to me....
So I am wondering what do people usually do when they have the flu.
I,
1. Eat alot of chicken noodle soup.
2. Drink lots of hot water.
3. Take many showers.
4. Eat alot of fruits and veggies.
5. Sleep alot.
I was wondering if anyone had some remedies, because I really want to get better. Living in the #1 tourist area (Disney World) is not great when people travel from around the world bring bugs. Last time i was at Disney World so many people were coughing, sneezing and wiping their boogers on themselves. Really gross.. I think thats where I got it. Anywho, I am curious to peoples remedies.

I've been sick for the past 2 weeks now and it's not getting any better. I don't think I can add much more to what you've provided, as I'm doing pretty much the same things. So if I'm not getting better I must be doing something wrong? I also try to get out of the house from time to time, walking my dog, (attempting) to go for a jog to clear my head and to get some fresh air but these things don't seem to help either. Hmm..

Being sick stinks. I seem get sick very easy. I am keeping my fingers crossed as I have not been sick in a few months.
The things that work for me is which you are already doing
1) Full nights sleep.
2) lots of water
3) lots of greens. (thats a tough one for me :o )
4) positive thinking
Hope you feel better!

If you go outside and its damp or raining, that could make it worse. If you go outside and your around a lot of people you could get more germs. If you live with people who bring home germs from there jobs, or schools that could make it worse too. (thats how i got sick again)
Mostly everyone at my gf's job has some kind of illness. So when she comes home, i tell her to burn all her clothes and shower. (but really the clothes go in the dirty laundry, lol)
Zane: Full night sleeps are tough when your sick. One night I seriously woke up every 30 minutes, painful cough attacks. Not fun. I hope I get better so I can see Princess and the Frog tomorrow.
May God really bless you levellele.....and keep away all the sufferings you are facing now.....cant believe that you are still suffering from cold and fever....
take rest..

Yeah that is very true. Usually when I have a fever what ever was on my mind ends up cycling over and over through out the night like a broken record. And as much as I try to think or dream about something else...it always comes back to that thought.
But the worst is definitely waking up from a coughing fit.
Anyway, keep doing what you are doing and hopefully you will be good to go by tomorrow!

Do 60 pushups in a min and run for two blocks! really gets your blood pumping and helps cure your sickness.
also drink lots of water 1L of water will boost your matabalism! also helps out :D
step three is laughter, put on the funniest movies you can find, I reccomend "Me.Myself and Irene" with jim carrey  - best movie ever in my opinion.
Think Positive :)

Usually when I'm sick I don't have time to rest so I stay ill for weeks.
But when I was younger, I'd eat things like applesauce and squished popsickles.

When it is really serious and I have to stay home AND I don't have work to do I usually watch something REALLY nice, like an animated movie or a movie in the likes of Batman (1989). Nothing like a good watching experience to bring you in a good mood!

I came down with a very nasty case of Neumonia starting last Thursday. I was rushed to the ER Saturday night because I could not catch my breath at all. I have a touch of Asthma also so it was very scary. I'm finally feeling better a week later, although, I still have bouts of shortness of breath because of all the mucus. I missed the last live seminar with Don because of it. hope to be back online more next week!!
