My friend Alexey Kobelev from the russian forum of "Pro-Disney Animation" has restored the one incredible inspiring background decoration from "The Lion King" using Panorama Maker.
It's a flat one-layer image that shows us an imitation of perspective distortions for the moving camera.

Yeah, it's something most don't notice how unusual the full paintings must look compared to the slow cropped pans in movies.
Check out this even more extreme Rock-A-Doodle painting of the pipe-organ. I found the image in this forum:

Awesome Job CanAur. Very inspiring!
These backgrounds are all so stunning. It's amazing to see them in full and just how perspectives have been played upon and you just san't see these in the films. They're all beautiful stand alone pieces.

That is just amazing. I am curious though are the edges actually cut oddly like that or is that just how they were restored?
