CTN Expo

AJartist posted some information about the CTN Expo in Burbank (http://www.ctnanimationexpo.com/) coming this November during the Don's club meeting. Looks like there's going to be a good turn out of talent folks including Don so I'm planning to attend. Also Disney Feature Animation is having a preview screening of Princess and the Frog (http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=130242172549&ref=mf) starting on the 25th. It's a nice way to see the studio if you've never had the opportunity before. Anyone else planning to go?

Looks like Don and Gary will be speaking on Saturday, November 21 at 5pm. I would love to go if I can. Here's a schedule.

Oh man, that sounds like so much fun! I already bought tickets to see the Princess and the Frog at the studios on the 30th, I wonder if I can get some extra money to stay around the area just a bit longer to hang around for the expo.

My girlfriend and I will be in LA from Thursday 19th - 27th. Our hotel room isn't booked yet but if anyone needs a place to stay, please let me know and I'll try to help you out. I'm thinking of staying at the Marriott from the 19th - 22nd and then the Anaheim Plaza for the remainder of our stay. If we can help others out by sharing our room, we'll do it.

I'll do my best Arif. I'm bringing my video camera and a few extra SD cards to record stuff while I'm at the Expo and the Princess and the Frog premiere. Though I'm not sure how much recording is allowed of both events.

Don plans to attend the expo on both Friday 20th and Saturday 21st and maybe, Sunday. He will find time during his visit to spend time with the forum members. As soon as we get the official schedule for Don, we will post a time/place for meet and greet.

I appreciate your enthusiasm but Don, and whomever else chooses to meet us, is doing it on their own time. Lets be respectful of his/their busy weekend and just enjoy a get together. I'm sure if there's an opportunity for an autograph, they'll let you know.

Hey guys, I just tried registering for the CTN animation expo.
Just wanted to point out,
Bluth's code only works if you want general admitance - if you're a student, then the code doesn't apply as you already have a discount.
Also,
The code Dave posted has a typo, I just went over it with a woman on the phone to make sure.

Also, if you're a student and are bummed that the bluth code doesn't work, and if you're the first from your area to register for it, you get a 10% discount off too :D I just got lucky with that one. Apparently I'm the first to register from Savannah, Georgia.

Well I got my tickets for the Princess and the Frog for Dec 8th. picked that day as it is my wifes Bday.

I am thinking of going to the expo on Sat 21st. Possibly with getting a hotel and hitting up Sunday as a walk in if I need or feel there is more to do.

Looking to get my tickets by end of the week. Hopefully we can schedule a meet up?
