As I said in my presentation thread, I'm used to animate with the Easytoon program. All my animations are in GIF format and last less than 2 minutes.
Here is a sample of my work :
Metro (http://pagesperso-orange.fr/jeckos150/Easytoon/m%E9tro.gif)
I did it in March 2005. A short adventure in the subway.
Tennis (http://pagesperso-orange.fr/jeckos150/Easytoon/Tennis.gif)
I did this one in January 2007 (but I started it in April 2006!). A fly is getting disturbed by a tennis player. I felt a bit desappointed when the Bee Movie was released as it was featuring a very similar sequence...
Enough for the sampling. I hope you liked these little things!
See you!

Madanimator...
From looking at your "mouse" avatar, it appears that you have a very fluid and loose style of drawing. Nice work...
I also checked out your gallery images and they're very well done too.
Are you currently animating professionally somewhere?

Indeed Madanimator, your sketches are very nice, some are very simple and yet quite expressive...
I would just have appreciated to have these comments on your own work posted on your own thread, not on mine... just a question of "courtoisie".

With all due respect, this website is called DonBluthAnimation.com and not jeckos150.com. Mr. Bluth pays the bills here and as such can post what he wants where he wants to whoever he wants. Please keep that in mind before bringing up the question of "courtesy."

Thanks, Don! I am not animating professionally somewhere :)
Actually I'm 19 and still in High-school (my last year). But I'll try to give my best, working on the garage project!

Its really cool how you're making short films gifs. Somehow I always feel compelled to watch gif avatars. Are you struggling with your animation in anyway or do you have any questions about your work? Don't be afraid to post questions in the techniques area and I hope you continue to share more work!

The other forums I've subscribed to don't work like this. I guess I'll have to get used to it.
To Jeremyhopkins : gif animation is quite a struggle indeed! Especially when you use a software as limited as Easytoon. It's like making a flipbook in real life.
I will soon show you some other things (not brand new but quite recent). And I won't hesitate to ask if needed.
See you soon.

Please let me show you 3 animations I did throughout a long period of time. I decided for these to make a serie with a particular character. It's inspired by the TV show "Manimal" which some of you certainly know.
The animations were made separatly and I added a common introduction sequence no so long ago to focus on the "serie" aspect.
It was made with Easytoon, at a pace of 10 frames a second.
Part 01 : The Flying Man (http://pagesperso-orange.fr/jeckos150/Easytoon/multimorpher/Multimorpher-ep01-Flying_man.gif)
I did this one in one shot (July 2005). It took me a few hours in the making. I had good inspiration. The only thing I don't like is the final movement with the bird. It doesn't look natural...
Part 02 : The Run (http://pagesperso-orange.fr/jeckos150/Easytoon/multimorpher/Multimorpher-ep02-La_course.gif)
It's in French, sorry. Here, the bad point goes to the human characters I think. They look very rigid. Their movements are not smooth. This one was made in October and November 2005.
Part 03 : The Lab (http://pagesperso-orange.fr/jeckos150/Easytoon/multimorpher/Multimorpher-ep03-the_lab.gif)
This is the most sophisticated part. I started it in April 2007 and finished it around October 2008. Again, a lot of rigidity in the movements of the human character towards the end of the animation, when he's wondering whether he should open the file or not. I'm not happy with that.
Your comments & criticism will be appreciated.
Bye!
