I just had an idea since we are all Animation folk to expirement with the idea of "The Animated Film VS thread(s)". This idea includes EVERYONE'S opinion on two animated films against each other. Now right at the moment I am not thinking of restricting any films so Don Bluth, Disney, and maybe some Miyazaki and other inspiring films can be thrown into the mix. The only issue with that is the fact that people might not be on the same page or familiarity level as others.

I am pretty sure though that some of us are familiar with at least two Don Bluth films, and a maybe some Disney films so we might start out from there.

Any thoughts or ideas on how we should do this?

ADDED:

Just a second ago thought that we can do this based on a "rating system" since we could judge them on multiple levels, make it more of an intelligent face-off. Since people usually like things for different reasons we can incorporate this in the rating system. Say you think that one film had a better plot but some of the animation seemed not as well as the other but the other one lacked plot...and so forth.

Don't see how this thread would offend anybody. No animation film is perfect, and I don't see any of the Disney filmmakers around this board, so I doubt it would offend anyone.
