Do you have a specific place in mind you'd like to work or a position you'd like to get?
Overall I really like how you brought everything up to color. You really learn a lot by going through the whole process.

Well since I could remember I always desired to work as an animator for mr.Bluth! drawing, convey storytelling and feelings through drawings has always been the driving force behind my work, unfortunately nowadays 2d animation seems to have taken a back step for good. For the time being I'm seeking a position as a 3d modeler or 3d animator, nonetheless whenever I have some free time (or during weekends) I work very late at night (2-4.00am) at some 2d animation projects....perhaps when I'll get some of that stuff accomplished I'll start posting some of it on this very forum!
P.s.: I really like your art on your blog!...excellent drawing skills.

Cool, I understand. Yes I understand taking some projects that might not suit you to get the experience but if you know what you love to do, I think that is the most important part of a career. The reason why I asked you about your goals is because the first 30 seconds of your reel feels like full animation which is different from the rest of your reel. There's nothing wrong with a 30 second demo as long as everything on it is your best work. Actually a lot places will appreciate the brevity. So if you goal is to work on feature quality projects, then my advice is the stick with the first half and add to that when you have time. Maybe, keep the other work to your portfolio since you have some nice drawings and it'll be great for employers to look at your work on paper.

Hi Jeremy thanks for your feedback! (and congrats for winning the Rhino poll!)
I also believe that it is important to know what to do, but in my case I don't see how that's going to help me out as far as applying for a 2d animaton job. I could consider relocating in South Korea as an in-betweener for Family Guy or the Simpson for 50 cents an hour,....LOL. :D
In the end, and all considered the state of 2d animation all together, 3D animation is for me the lesser of the evil (maybe I'm being a bit dramatic here), and this forum is for me like an oasis or a forbidden fruit in which every now and then I enjoy induliging in before going back to the usual routine....
I definetely appreciate your comments on my demoreel....although it was put together during my early classes in animation shoool so to allow me to pass that early class, it is nice to hear comments on it as if actually it is meant to be a real demoreel....
I absolutely concord with the discrepancy between the first part and the second part.....and whenever time will allow it I'll defineteley try to implement more work that actually resembles full animation....;)
Thank you again for the constuctive criticism!
